Z---Zooming in

         Zooming in at this nook
where soft drizzle of words pooled in
         this is my Zen moment

The above attempted lines are dedicated to our own nook ..our nukkad or adda where jab bhi we met, it rained words.. This is my Zen moment as I successfully complete the challenge with your support and appreciation. Thank you all for dropping by,reading me and supporting me :)

L--- LIE

Lie is untruth
Lie is false but not imaginary....it exists.
Lie is empty, it yearns for confirmation.
Lie is needy, it needs reassurance.
Lie is fearful ..of enquiry.
Lie seeks support ...to exist.
Lie is difficult...a source of trouble.
A heap of lies can be burnt down by a tiny spark of truth .

K---Krabi

Krabi is a town on the west coast of southern Thailand. When I researched this small town for a quiet vacation, I was not aware that it had so much to offer. I have promised myself,at least one more visit to this beautiful town.

Beautiful Buddha inside the Monkey temple cave.

Caves on one of the  islands.
Deep inside the dense forest, a waterfall ..
A gentle stream flows inside the rainforest.

Majestic Elephants and a ride across the Rainforest, and Rubber trees.

A training session inside the pool prior to deep sea diving course.

Canoeing through the Mangroves and Karst  formations

I loved Krabi more than Phuket. The latter, I feel is more commercialized ,hence expensive. We packed as much as we could in a week's time without losing out on the relaxation bit. Planning your own itinerary helps  in spacing out various activities unlike a conducted tour . I mean, who wants to be pushed around on a vacation ? Breakfast gets over at 10am....who cares ! Hard Rock Cafe and a stroll around the bazaar in the evening instead of a theme parks. Snorkling ,deep sea diving, Thai cookery classes, paragliding, canoeing, kayaking, safari ..you name it and Krabi has that much and more to offer and very reasonably so.

J--- Journey

I'm traveling at present and can't help but associate the letter 'J' with Journey. Much has been said to associate life with a journey. Here are some of those quotes:

Can you guess which one is my favorite?

I---Istanbul

Opening the gates of history...to a majestic city called Istanbul

Each square, intersection and roundel adorned with flowers and fountains..

These narrow lanes hide the best of shopping, cafes and residences..

Hammams give a character to this city.
The famous Blue mosque ....

F---Forbidden city

The Forbidden City was so called because entry to commoners was strictly forbidden .
Comprising of about 980 buildings, the Forbidden city covers about 720,000 sq.m.area.

Once you enter these gates, there is only one way to go....forward !

Once home to the Emperor and his family and the offices, this huge complex now houses museums.

Good luck!

                   !

Forbidden you say...well, I do not follow boundaries, I am a little birdie and I don't care!

Another day comes to an end to usher in a new beginning !
